Hey There

Boxing isn't just a sport for us—it's been a wild ride full of ups, downs, and more than a few moments where we thought about hanging up the gloves for good. But every time we get close, something pulls us back in. Maybe it’s the 25 years of hard-earned knowledge I can’t let go to waste. Or maybe it’s Dimitri, who’s just too damn talented to call it quits.

Either way, we’re still here, and the story behind how we got this far? Well, that’s worth sticking around for.

All About Dimitri and Coach Norbert

Our journey into boxing didn’t start with gloves—it started with frustration. Back in 2016, Dimitri first laced up at Kings Gym in Oakland. But before that, he was a standout in powerlifting, track, field, and football. A natural athlete, sure, but his love for boxing didn't surface until later. Before we moved to the Bay Area, we lived in Monument, Colorado, where I tried to get Dimitri involved in sports. Unfortunately, the youth sports scene there was a disaster. Too much politics, not enough merit. Coaches didn’t recognize Dimitri’s potential, despite him being the fastest and strongest on the field.

I couldn’t stand watching him being underestimated, or worse—reduced to just being “the token black kid.” So, we made the move to the Bay Area, and that's when something clicked. Unexpectedly, Dimitri found his way back to boxing, and while his amateur career had a rocky start, he's now on a tear. With 3 TKOs and a decisive win over an amateur star from Southern California, it’s clear that he’s just getting started.

As Dimitri pursues his boxing dreams, I’m right there by his side, shaping his training every step of the way. Cardio, strength, mobility, technique—you name it, I’ve drawn from 25 years of experience to mold him into a modern-day Mike Tyson. Our goal is simple: make Dimitri one of the best 147-pounders the sport has ever seen. This is just the beginning.

Why should you come to watch a Dimitri Grover fight?

For decades, boxing fans have tuned in hoping to witness the kind of fights that captivate the imagination—bouts like those of Jack Johnson, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson. These legends didn’t just fight for points; they fought to dominate, to entertain, and to leave a lasting impression with their skill and heart.

But in recent years, boxing has shifted. Amateur and Olympic-style point fighting has crept in, with fighters more focused on preserving their records than going for the knockout. Fans are tired of defensive, run-and-hide tactics.

Enter Dimitri Grover—a throwback to the days when fighters truly fought. Every time Dimitri steps into the ring, he brings the fire, the action, and the intensity that fight fans crave. He’s not there to outpoint his opponent; he’s there to make a statement. If you want to witness a real fight, where the ref is in the ring to protect the other guy, then you won’t want to miss a Dimitri Grover bout.
